To be honest I hate Python, but after this course I started to appreciate it a bit more, or at least understand the reasons behind it and use it more often without being afraid of "ugh this ugly syntax" or "this does not make any sense". A tool is a tool, and as any tool you need to find its use!

The course provides many coding exercises as you step through learning python. If you are someone who learns more by practice, you have the option to accept challenges that are generated specifically for your current learning topics and your challenge level. One of the most helpful features was the ability to ask for more information from Boots, an AI bear/teacher. The responses answered all questions in detail, even if the topics asked about were not originally part of the lesson.

Very easy to understand, i love the way "learning while you re playing", even the examples teaches you a lot, and if you dont understand something the Boots AI es very usefull, sometimes if you dont understand a lesson, Boots gives you a new explain, ask, again and again. An two advices that helps me a lot, first, READ CAREFULLY, most of the times the answer is rigth in front of you, and second, even if your code works, ask Boots to explain how the code works, this helps a lot too.

I did this in tandem with an Introduction to Programming course at a college that also used Python, and it helped me understand the topics and concepts a lot better when I was actively writing the code on boot.dev and then reinforcing that in the course through the textbook and vice versa.
