direct simplified approach, best suited for fast transverse into coding practise rather than hammering the bases in my opinion. there are video explanations in a few chapters that are really good though. shame there aren't more.

A great course, to not only learn but to also just review my previous knowledge on python. I really liked that I could just read and try out code myself, instead of stuff like udemy courses which has a lot of friction between lessons and actually writing the code. it's really refreshing

Good starting point. One thing this course doesn't tell you as much is that you should be utilizing your outside resources, whether Youtube or whatever outside website to help better understand the concepts. Took me a few times and vids of explaining to grasp certain things

I am not impressed with Go. It appears to devolve quickly into seemingly random punctuation marks, while also being case-sensitive in a way that makes it annoying for people who've spent time on this boot.dev DevOps course! Go also tries too hard to be contrary to C. Many of the Assignments are worded poorly, and too many are "this is how you must *not* do it!" while forcing you to do it that way to progress the course.
